Patricia D. Lott
Ms. Lott became Executive Director and General Counsel of the ECHFA in February 2017. Ms. Lott practiced as a nationally recognized bond counsel for over thirty years, and is a member of the prestigious American College of Bond Counsel as well as the National Association of Bond Lawyers. She has represented counties, cities, and housing finance authorities as bond counsel or disclosure counsel in connection with many multifamily and single family bond issues. She has served as general counsel for Escambia County and the University of West Florida. She graduated with honors from Florida State University Law School. You can contact Patricia D. Director of Housing
Mr. Wilkerson joined the ECHFA in October 2014. Prior to joining, he completed over 30 years of direct experience in the affordable housing and community development arena, shared between the public and non-profit sectors. He worked in administrative positions for the Escambia County Board of County Commissioners and served as Executive Director of Neighborhood Enterprise Foundation, Inc., with responsibility for overseeing activities of the Escambia Consortium. He earned a Masters of Public Administration (MPA) degree and graduated with honors from the University of West Florida. Mr. Wilkerson is a member of Florida Association of Local Housing Finance Authorities, has served on the Board of Florida Community Development Association and has been active on many local boards and committees targeting affordable housing, neighborhood revitalization and issues of homelessness. Dr. Susan Stephenson
Assistant Executive Director/Chief Fiscal Officer
Dr. Stephenson joined the ECHFA in April 2015. Prior to joining, she worked in various fiscal administrative positions for the University of West Florida, University of West Florida Foundation, and the University of Arkansas. She earned her MBA and Ed.D. from the University of Arkansas. She holds numerous certifications and is a member of the American Institute of Cerified Public Accountants, the Institute of Internal Auditors, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Florida Association of Local Housing Finance Authorities, the National Association of Housing Finance Agencies, and the Florida Government Finance Officers Association. Assistant to the Director of Housing
Ms. Jones joined the ECHFA in May 2006. Prior to joining, she worked as the office manager at an acoustical ceiling and drywall business in Pensacola, FL. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration in accounting from the University of West Florida and an Associates of Arts degree from Pensacola Junior College. Ms. Jones is a member of the Florida Association of Local Housing Finance Authorities, the National Association of Housing Finance Agencies, the Florida Government Finance Officers Association and the Florida Records Management Association. Ms. Haag joined the ECHFA in July 2014. Prior to her service with the ECHFA, she taught school for 16 years. Her teaching career included Holley-Navarre Middle School, St. Michael School and most recently Sacred Heart Cathedral School. Mrs. Haag also worked for the City of Pensacola in Purchasing, Finance, and Information Technology. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education in both Specific Learning Disabilities and Emotional Handicapped (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of West Florida, and an Associate of Arts degree in general studies from Pensacola Junior College. Ms. McClay joined the ECHFA in October 2015. Prior to joining, she worked various customer service positions in Pensacola. Ms. McClay received a Master's of Accountancy and a B.S.B.A. in Accounting from the University of West Florida, and an A.A. in Business from Pensacola State College. Ms. McClay is a member of the Florida Government Finance Officers Association, Florida Association of Local Housing Finance Authorities, and the National Association of Housing Finance Agencies. Ms. Bernau joined the ECHFA in September 2018. Prior to her service with the ECHFA, she worked in the Office of the General Counsel and UWF Business Enterprises, Inc., at the University of West Florida and in the Office of the Escambia County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller. She earned her B.A. from the University of West Florida and her Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law. Ms. Bernau is a member of the Florida Bar, the Escambia/Santa Rosa Bar Association, the Northwest Florida Association of Women Lawyers, and IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area.
